It indexes and searches your media where it already lives, so there’s no migration, no replatforming, and no need to move petabytes into the cloud. Grail works alongside your current infrastructure, not instead of it. If most of your archive is already in the cloud, reach out to us. We can help you evaluate whether Grail is a fit for your setup.
Grail includes built-in user roles so you can control who can search, preview, download, and manage settings. Grail Mini and Grail Studio include basic role levels such as admin, editor, and view-only access. Grail Ultra is designed for larger IT-led environments and includes advanced permission controls, with SSO and Active Directory mapping available for teams that need Grail to mirror their existing security structure. Your media stays protected. Your team gets exactly the access they need. Nothing more, nothing less.
Both are Grail plans. The difference is the hardware that powers them:

- Grail Studio comes with a brand new Mac Studio (recommended for large libraries over 10 TB)
